Off the Menu
I'm discovering that the staff at the House have a refined palate and good taste when it comes to pizza and pizza ingredients. The other day I noticed that Ramsay had gotten made for himself quite the unusual pizza, with a whole array of ingredients that did not appear on the menu. I decided to order one just like his and it turned out to be one great pizza. Next time you're in, I recommend that you ask them to surprise you with one of their creative concoctions.

The House
There's no place like home
Welcome to the blog about a place at the corner of King Edward and Sommerset that I like to call home. I'm not talking about my place of residence, although sometimes I wonder where I should get my mail delivered, based on the time that I spend there. I'm referring to La Maison / The House.
The House is the place where you walk in to find friendly bartenders ready to serve you a cold pitcher of Canadian for $10 (possibly one of the best deals in town), a pint of Murphy's stout, Rickard's Red or Rickard's White for only $5.75. You're probably saying to yourselves: I'm sure I could find a better deal out there. Sure, but it's the staff, the atmosphere and the people that frequent this pub that makes it what it is.
Once again, welcome to this blog and remember - there's no place like home.
